I come here regularly and everything is always great! It's easy to make appointments via doctolib - a new appointment can also be made by phone at short notice if you can't make the original one. Everyone at reception and when taking blood samples is always friendly, efficient and effective. The results are often available on the same day. I can't begin to understand the bad reviews. P.S.: In an acute emergency, you should go to the hospital and not to a medical laboratory like some of the patients complaining unjustly here.

I am very surprised at the many bad reviews. Since 2021, after the 2nd corona vaccination, my husband, 82 years old, with a serious heart condition, has had major problems with an unstable potassium level. I have been accompanying my husband to the laboratory regularly for blood tests until 2024. Therefore, I think I can judge how helpful and friendly the ladies at reception are, how smoothly the blood test and information about the current value, including re-appointment, runs. Especially at our age, my husband and I are very grateful for this helpfulness.

We were refused a medical emergency at reception without any empathy: a 91-year-old's urgent request for a potassium level of 5.6 mmol/l, which needed to be repeated and checked, was refused because an appointment could only be made by telephone. Not even someone on site was able to give him an appointment quickly. Completely without alternative and with stoic stubbornness, an employee - who had a cosmetically completely exaggerated appearance considering her job in the healthcare industry - repeatedly referred us in a snippy tone to making an appointment by telephone only. The waiting room was empty, but she refused our request to ask a doctor and kept repeating phone, phone. Congratulations, that's customer service. We reject Doctolib on principle, they push you away by phone. As recently as January, there were visually well-groomed and professionally experienced laboratory assistants working there who were able to offer a patient a blood test even without an appointment and spontaneously in emergencies. We should at least have been told where an immediate laboratory check could be carried out in Düsseldorf. For the sake of good manners. Instead, the managing director authorized to represent us, Mr. Tom Bauernfeind, only insisted on his domiciliary rights. Dr. med. Paul Nemes also joined us and some of the 4 (!) managing directors stood in front of us with their hands in their pockets and threatened to call the police. When the police didn't come, we finally left. Nobody there knows how to deal with complaints. Since the takeover of the laboratory by Sonic Healthcare Limited from Australia, the savings are even greater and no personal care of patients is possible. There is also a lack of qualified BMAs. Flexible automation solutions to improve the quality of processes are still lacking, which is why patients wait longer than a day for results. This 'think tank' in Nordstrasse is a far cry from a fully automated laboratory line and a patient-oriented service. Google gives us the opportunity to present the negative facts.

You did not agree with this and loudly attacked our employees on a personal level (appearance and competence) and disparaged them. It is human and understandable that the same employees subsequently refused to give you an appointment. We then asked you to leave our premises, which you ignored. At the same time, we pointed out the possibility of having the blood sample taken elsewhere. Looking at your previous reviews on Google, which always follow the same pattern, you could give the impression that you are the constant in the disputes and not the inability of others... The fact that you are now deleting and reposting your review for the fourth time only confirms to us that you do not want a solution, but are looking for pure negative representation. If you want to be talked to like a child by a receptionist, then you should go to this lab. Self-deprecating, arrogant and dismissive. That is the level of this laboratory. Management is not interested in complaints.
