Laracraft was hired to help develop an online platform that would meet Likamundi's requirements. We decided to use Laravel, one of the leading PHP web frameworks, to develop a robust and scalable platform. Challenge
The provider Laracraft was to program an application for the digital consulting platform ConWISE. This application was to become a real-time application where multiple users can access the platform simultaneously and develop strategies together.
Solution
We became aware of Laracraft basically through our acquaintances. I myself am responsible for areas such as marketing and content, so my business partner, was out in communities on these technical topics. My partner, who is technically well versed and observes the market activities on this, noticed the positive development of Laracraft on the market. They have achieved very good results and shared them.
We found it good that the provider understood our basic core objective right from the start. By that I mean what basic functionalities we should offer and what our vision is for the product. For example, thinking about these questions first: Who are we targeting? What are the personas? What does the user need? This approach was very helpful. The implementation was mainly done via GitHub products. Among other things, frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban were set up and used there. It worked wonderfully with those tools. So most of it was done via remote work. We physically saw each other 1 or 2 times. There was always the opportunity to reflect and exploit optimization potential when smaller milestones were reached. As soon as partial results became presentable, they were flawlessly uploaded to a test server so that we could view and test the product status. Overall, it was an agile and iterative approach, supported by state-of-the-art software tools including backlog and boards to manage the project. As a product owner, I documented and prioritized our requirements in the backlog, in my words.
I think there were 3 project members or a main developer, a UI / UX designer and someone for the backend and infrastructure. I can't say if there were more involved. The most contact we had was with one main contact and one designer. Everything else was well solved in sprints.
Results
In principle, you can say that we started from scratch. If we look in today, you can see the results directly, it works, it works wonderfully and our users like to use it. Anyone who wants, any potential customer could look at our platform for free and test it. In the entire time since the launch of the project, only one bug has been reported by our users. We are very satisfied with that. Our approach was such that the platform could be fed in such a way that we could introduce new methods into the platform without any programming knowledge. This has worked very well.
Yes, the cooperation was very effective and result-oriented. The most important questions were asked at the beginning of the project The agreements were clear and both sides did not have to ask multiple follow-up questions. There are vendors who only want to program and not understand what the project is all about. That's why it was very effective for us, because the partner wanted to understand what our core objectives were.

Background
We run a Heilpraktikerschule and thus prepare examinees to be able to pass the Heilpraktikerprüfung. We are a GbR, which consists of a doctor and me as partners.
Challenge
We offer a so-called online exam trainer, which in the past was built on a different technical basis. The old solution was an application that we had purchased for little money. We wanted to move this due to the given limitations and bring it on a new technical basis. With this in mind, the provider Laracraft was to develop a solution for the needs of Likamundi School of Naturopaths. They implemented an online exam trainer to help students prepare for their exams. The platform offers a number of features to help students prepare for their exams. These include comprehensive question and answer banks, practice exams and personalized progress reports. The vendor has ensured that the platform is easy to use and adapts to the needs of the students. Students can access the platform anytime and from anywhere to practice their exams and track their progress.
Solution
We have asked around. I learned about the provider through acquaintances. So quite uncomplicated.
The collaboration began with an initial, non-binding meeting during which we communicated our needs. This was followed by a detailed requirements analysis on the part of the provider in order to understand our needs and to design a solution for them. We then received an offer including a cost estimate and a binding deadline by which the new application should be ready. After the conception phase, agile development began in sprints. With each sprint, we were able to track the current status of the development and provide feedback. Finally, our employees were trained to be able to start with the new application. During this process, we also observed how the students' needs evolved with the new application, so the application should be optimized accordingly. This maintenance was also accompanied by the provider. In addition, our internal developer was trained by the provider so that we could take over the further development of the platform ourselves.
I don't know the exact team size. We mainly dealt with one central contact person. The project was also accompanied by 3 to 4 developers with whom we were in contact.
Results
Yes, the effect was already enormous. Our students were able to learn much better with the new application. Statistics were included in the project, so the students could follow their development live. That was very effective! Overall, the volume from the students has gone up tremendously. We now have at least twice as many students as in the past. Word of the new online exam coach has also spread quickly. Some of the students tell us, "Thank goodness I found you. I would do anything to let my friends and acquaintances know about it."
On the whole, the collaboration was totally effective. The social and professional cooperation was flawless. You managed to communicate everything so that we spoke the same language and understood each other. For me, the collaboration was super pleasant and very effective. I know this from acquaintances and other entrepreneurs, where the set deadlines were sometimes delayed twice and three times, or even projects that were canceled due to poor implementation. There were some very few exceptions in our company, where sprints ran longer than planned. But that was absolutely fine with us.
On the one hand, the professionalism. The promise and the result matched. On a human level, the collaboration was very pleasant. I always felt understood and we came to a professional result, which was also noticed by the students.
In exceptional cases, a maximum of 2 to 3 times, the sprints lasted a few days longer than planned. But that was totally within the bounds for us.
